On Wednesday 29th January, Mike Callaghan of GPT Waste will be presenting a webinar in conjunction with Minerva Procurement Consultancy. The Practical Procurement Webinar will cover waste management for the education sector.
The webinar entitled ‘ What to consider when reviewing your waste management’ will highlight what to look for in a service, typical waste generated by schools and new regulations in Scotland and what it means for us in England and Wales.
At the end of his presentation participants will:
- Have a good understanding of typical waste from schools and the containers available.
- Know what to look for in a service – i.e compliance aspects.
- Understand more about the regulations in Scotland, their impact and what that means for those in England and Wales.
Following the presentation from Mike, Lorraine Ashover, Director of Minerva Procurement will talk through what she has come across in waste management reviews.
At the end of both presentations participants will have a good understanding of waste management which will help if participants are undertaking such a review in their own school.
