Client: Nu Kleen
Location: Creamfields Music Festival
Date: August 2011
About the Project:
Creamfields is the North West’s major Music Festival event and is held over the August Bank Holiday week-end each year. Hosting over 50,000 visitors in total each day of the festival, 45,000 of whom camp at the site each night.
The event produced over 500 tonnes of waste over the whole weekend.
A whole range of containers and services were provided to site in the week before the event, throughout the event days themselves and after the event for the immense post festival clean up which took almost 2 weeks to complete.
In order to operate safely and to ensure that the site was clean and tidy for the start of each day, our teams worked through the night on the days of the event itself, with collections being made during the early hours.
