CIWM
As the leading professional body for resource and waste professionals, CIWM is the voice of the sector and represents over 5,000 individuals and organisations in the UK and overseas.
Being part of CIWM as an Affiliated Organisation is a strong partnership, a commitment to the sector, an opportunity to network with a wide range of leading organisations.
GPT Waste are proud to be a CIWM Affiliated Organisation since 2005, being an affiliated organisation demonstrates our commitment as a business to best-practice and gives us a professional seal of approval which our customers expect.
SafeContractor
We are delighted announce that we have once again been awarded accreditation from SafeContractor for our commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety. The accreditation further demonstrates the high standards that customers can rely on by working with GPT Waste.
Alcumus SafeContractor is a leading third-party accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors. It is used by thousands of organisations in the UK including SMEs and FTSE 100 companies.
Constructionline
We are pleased to announce that we are members of Constructionline. Constructionline work to enhanced PAS 91 criteria, they can also validate suppliers as ‘Deemed to satisfy’ for SSIP via their health and safety specialists at Acclaim. In using the Constructionline platform, buyers can expect to simplify and speed up their search, validation and purchasing decision processes considerably, improving resource and cost efficiency.
ISO 9001 & 14001
The ISO 9000 family of quality management systems (QMS) is a set of standards that helps organizations ensure they meet customers and other stakeholder needs within statutory and regulatory requirements related to a product or service.
ISO 14000 is a family of standards related to environmental management that exists to help organizations minimize how their operations negatively affect the environment; comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements; and continually improve in the above.
WFAA
WFAA membership currently comprises some forty UK, European & International companies.
The members of the Association commission audit of waste facilities that they commonly use in the UK and mainland Europe through international environmental consultants.
